Meena Hirama

Born in Tokyo in 2001
Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Intermedia Art in 2025
I engage in expressive activities that release my own inner conflicts, emotions such as anger and joy, and energy. I create paintings and other works using photography as my starting point. I have taken photos of my family and friends and created paintings based on those photos. I create my works with the hope that I can express the fundamental energy of human beings that cannot be captured in photographs. I paint impulsively using my hands, feet, and my entire body.
